We have a large selection of finishes, glosses, and tactics to make your floors like new again. Once we start the sanding process we will mark off an area and we will lay stain samples directly on your floor to see what color works best in your home, if you don’t see a color you like straight from the can, we will mix up a custom color to help fit your homes decor. 1. First we walk the job and put up plastic sheathing where needed (i.e. kitchen cabinets, countertops, doorways, vents, etc.) 
2. We remove existing shoe molding if needed and start the sanding process, we can usually sand 800-1000 square feet in one day, but depending on a homes layout and total size the time needed may fluctuate. If we are sanding and refinishing a staircase and/or hand railing this will also prolong the sanding process.
3. After sanding down the flooring we will visually inspect all the flooring planks to see if any boards are damaged and need to be repaired or replaced. (Although some boards will be very apparant that they are damaged before sanding, many will not and we will speak with you to make sure everyone is in agreement before altering the floor) 
4. After making any replacements or repairs, it’s time to choose a final color! We typically will make samples for you near the beginning of the sanding process to give you time to choose the appropriate stain color. Choices for stain can be direct from a can or we can mix up some colors to give you a unique customized look. Once the final color has been selected our team will apply the stain and sealer to the entire floor area. 
5. After allowing the stain and sealer to dry (apprx. 12-24 hours) we return to apply the finishing coats. We will typically apply 2-3 coats and the time for each coat of the polyurethane to dry will depend on which type is choosen. (We will go over which finish is best during our free in home consultation) 
6. Installing the trim is the last part of the process, most customers have us either install white shoe molding that can be painted to match the baseboard or stained shoe molding to match the color of the floor.
7. After everything is done we will ask you walk over the job to make sure everything looks great and if you would like a represtative from our company to walk along side with you we are always happy to make a visit!
